• • Advanced Pain Management Institute offers a multidisciplinary approach in controlling chronic pain. Interventional options are utilized in combination with therapy, lifestyle changes and medications with the goal of improving the individual's quality of life and avoiding dependency on opioids.
    
    Interventions are performed under fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance for precision and safety.
    
    Interventional options include spinal injections, peripheral nerve blocks, joint injections, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, Percutaneous Decompression (Nucleoplasty), Discogram and kyphoplasty. Spinal injections including epidural injections, selective nerve root block, facet blocks/radiofrequency ablation. Peripheral nerve blocks include occipital nerve block, suprascapular nerve block, median nerve block, femoral nerve block, genicular nerve block and ilioinguinal/iliohypogastric nerve block. Cranial nerve block but also performed including trigeminal nerve block and glossopharyngeal nerve block. Sympathetic blocks include stellate ganglion, lumbar sympathetic plexus, hypogastric plexus and ganglion impar block.
    
    Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS) including dorsal ganglion stimulation (DRG) is used for treatment of lumbar postlaminectomy syndrome, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, Postherpatic Neuralgia and Spinal Stenosis in the absence of surgical options.
    
    Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS) is utilized for neuropathy including occipital nerve stimulation, femoral nerve stimulation, suprascapular nerve stimulation, and sural nerve examination.
    
    Kyphoplasty is used for treatment of vertebral compression fractures where cement is injected inside the fractured vertebra.
    
    Treatment of cancer related pain including intrathecal pumps/ports and neurolytic injections.
    
    Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is helpful in healing and regeneration of the damage to tendons, osteoarthritic joints and resistant bursitis.
